Unless you had a set guideline that in a party setting the 2 of you would swing as a cpl, neither of you are at fault. To get past this, do not place blame. Communicate with one another concerning where events went wrong and decide on what you need to do as a cpl to prevent this from happening again in the future. I cannot stress enough the importance of setting guidelines and sticking to them. It's only human nature to place blame when something goes wrong but a healthy swinging relationship has no room for pointing fingers. With set guidelines there is no margin of error and everyone has a good time.
